The purpose of the Flora Macdonald Legacy Foundation is to ensure the future of  Highlander Academy, in both the short and the long-term.  On a ongoing basis, they assist the school in providing technology and other supplementary materials and activities.  The long range goal of the Legacy Foundation is to establish an endowment to help support and expand Highlander Academy, as well as to offer scholarships to deserving students.  This work is largely funded through the annual Day of Giving fundraiser.
